Gentle, Supported, Uniquely Kur
Our yoga studio was designed for calm and connection, filled with natural light, soft zebra flooring, and a mirrored wall that helps you move with awareness. At its heart is our Yoga Wall, which allows for assisted poses, traction, and gentle inversions that support alignment and deepen your practice safely.
Kur has become known as Asbury’s gentle studio where yoga is mindful, accessible, and intentionally slower. Part of the larger spa experience at Kur, our yoga shares the same restorative spirit: unhurried, nurturing, and deeply grounding. This isn’t power or hot yoga; it’s yoga that restores balance to both body and mind.
Each class focuses on support and stability rather than intensity, helping you find ease, flexibility, and a sense of peaceful renewal. Whether you’re new to yoga or returning to your practice, our instructors guide you with compassion and expertise so you leave each class feeling lighter, stronger, and restored.

You must reserve your space for classes at Kur
If we don't have at least two sign-ups, class will be cancelled one hour before it is scheduled to start. Walk-ins are always welcome if class is already running with at least two reserved students. Also, please arrive at least five minutes before class starts (15 mins before for new students to Kur so you can do intake paperwork).

Gentle Yoga
This class incorporates gentle floor and standing yoga postures, linking breath, slow flow movement, and the emotional body to create a connection between all aspects of the individual. Through deep stretching and a formatted progression we work into the body and mind's deeper layers to unlock your own healing capacity. Classes running with seven or fewer will typically utilize our Great Yoga Wall. Suitable for all levels.

Hatha Flow
Combining the traditional grounding principles of Hatha yoga with smooth, modern flowing transitions, this class creates a steady rhythm that’s energizing yet calm. Breath and movement come together in mindful sequences designed to build strength, flexibility, and focus — all at a comfortable, supportive pace. Accessible to all levels, making it a good workout that can leave you feeling both strong and relaxed.

Yoga for Tight Muscles
This customized class gives you the time and tools to stretch, eliminate toxins, heal from injury, and bring balance back to the body. Specific muscle-loosening movements create space and relieve tension for the body and mind to work effectively and efficiently together. Includes restorative poses that utilize props and bolsters. Become adaptable with whatever life throws your way with results from this therapeutic class designed for all levels.

Yin Yoga
A perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of the muscles. Yin targets connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine, into the ligaments, bones, and the joints of the body that normally are not exercised in a more active Flow practice. Be ready for longer holds and stretching on the mat, and deep meditative poses that will seriously transcend you.

Meditative Restorative
This customized class gives you the time and tools to stretch, eliminate toxins, heal from injury, and bring balance back to the body. Specific muscle-loosening movements create space and relieve tension for the body and mind to work effectively and efficiently together. Includes restorative poses that utilize props, bolsters, and a crystal sound bowl. Become adaptable with whatever life throws your way with results from this therapeutic class designed for all levels.

Yoga Fundamentals
Designed for those who are new to yoga or those who would like to deepen their knowledge of the practice, this class explores proper alignment and importance of each pose. We begin with meditation and breath work and progress into mindful movement, exploring the foundational poses of a traditional vinyasa yoga practice. We move at a gentle pace, ending each class with a deep relaxation. This all-levels class provides modifications for beginners and deeper expressions for seasoned practitioners.
