Learn how to improve your diet and digestion through the time tested principles of the 5,000 year old science of Ayurveda. You will learn how to effectively work with common digestive issues such as gas, bloating, feeling tired after eating, indigestion, gut dysbiosis, irritable bowel, constipation and more. You'll gain a deeper understanding of your relationship to food and how to listen to your body's cravings in a healthy way. Over the four weeks you will delve deeper into digestive health using diet, lifestyle, yoga and breathing techniques. Students will acquire essential tools to equip them for self-healing.
The series will be tailored to the health concerns of the participants. There will be a demonstration and experience of different practices during class as well as small weekly assignments for students to do throughout the week. Each class will have a short yoga and breathing practice aimed at improving digestion, lecture, question and answer as well as group sharing. Class size limited to a maximum of eight to allow for individual attention.
