Referral Program
Spa Services
- To receive this offer you must book using the link below and subsequent instructions.
- Follow this link and complete a short form to refer new guests to Kur.
- They'll get $20 off a service of $80 or more.
- Upon completion of a referred guest's service, you'll get a similar $20 discount by email.
- Referral discounts are for new guests and awarded only through this electronic system.
- Not to be combined with other offers, discounts, or Club pricing.
Spa Services
- Please arrive on time for your service. If you arrive late, due to customers after you, we will not be able to provide the full-length of your service.
- Tipping is customary. Treat spa services like a restaurant check. Use similar percentages paid on the full value of a service. Please reward exceptional service with a commensurate tip.
- First Spa Service? Here is some spa etiquette:
- Please come 10 minutes early to complete an intake form.
- Please silence your cell phone when inside the spa.
- Communicate with your therapist. Your comfort is the most important thing, and your therapist is there for you. For example, ask for more/less pressure, quieter music, a blanket if you're cold, or table warmer off if you're too warm.
- You can continue talk quietly during the treatment or be still, as you choose. The therapist will follow your lead.
- Massages are usually done nude, but you are draped at all times. Only the part of the body being massaged is exposed. You can keep your underwear on, but it might limit the therapist's access to muscles that could use some work.
- Under 18? We will need a parent's consent, and depending on age, the parent may need to be in the room.
- Doing a Skin Care service? Please see this link for precautions and best pre-facial preparation.

Booking Appointments
- Bookings must optimize the therapists' schedules, so we will only offer times that accommodate this flow. If you book your own appointments online, we reserve the right to adjust your start time for proper flow (usually up or down 15 or 30 mins; of course we'll let you know if we have to do this).
- We require a credit card to be on file and will ask for this information when booking your first appointment.
- If your record doesn't have a credit card maintained on file, we reserve the right to remove an appointment since it is not secured (we will try to contact you first).
- We will not charge your card unless the policies below are infringed upon. Asking to reschedule does not relieve you from your appointment(s) commitment. Cancellation charges will still apply.
- Payment at checkout can be in any acceptable form of payment, and if you choose to use the same card you placed on file with us, we still need to swipe your card and get your signature on the receipt.
- If you book in our last slots of the day (hours listed here), we may ask you to pre-pay since the receptionist may leave before you come out of your service. We suggest you have cash for gratuity for after the service instead of pre-paying it by credit card.
- We welcome recurring pre-booked appointments, but if trends of cancellations happen, we reserve the right to remove your pre-bookings.
- Booking for someone else as a surprise? Calling to book is best so we can note the appointment as such. If you do book online, please call or text us to tell us it's a surprise so we can take steps to mask automated follow-ups. Without manual masking, our bot will spoil the surprise with day-before confirmation requests, no matter what steps you take.
Appointment Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations occurring less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will incur a fee of 50% of the scheduled service(s).
- "No Shows" or cancellations within one hour of the service(s) start, will incur a fee of 100% of the scheduled service(s).
- Please understand cancellation policies are in place because we are a busy studio, your appointments block the therapists from receiving other guests, and therapists are paid on a commission basis and do not receive wages for unpaid appointments.
- Groups booking over five (5) appointments in one visit will require a deposit and signing a short contract with alternative cancellation policies (see Groups / Events section below for details).
- Please call us at 732.361.8956 to cancel your appointment or reschedule.
Appointment Changes Policy
- All Cancellation Policy items above still apply when changing a scheduled appointment. Rescheduling does not relieve you from your appointment(s) commitment if you are inside the cancellation penalty window.
- If you wish to change your appointment to a different service in the last hour before the service is to begin, we will do our best to accommodate, but the cost will be at least that of the service originally scheduled.
- If your change is from a service that involves dispensed products (i.e. scrubs, wraps, Ayurvedic massages) that will go unused, there will be a product waste fee of $5.

- Spa taxes and gratuity are not included in pricing.
- Kur Club spa appointments follow the same appointment cancellation policies described above.
- Kur Club yoga class policies below apply, except late cancels which are forgiven.

Yoga Room Policies
- There are no refunds on yoga purchases
- Classes are subject to change without prior notice
- Reservations required (class minimum 2, maximum 14)
- Classes need two student reservations or class will be cancelled one hour before
- You must be in studio by class start, or risk losing your space to a standby
- Drop-ins will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, so please arrive early
- Late Cancel / No-Show Penalties:
- No credit is given for fewer than 3 hours notice before a class
- Drop-ins/Class Packs: You will lose the class used to make the reservation
- Unlimiteds: You will lose one day off your current month - A credit is simply not marking your class as used, so you can use it for a future class
- Workshops follow the same cancellation, credit, and no-refund policies
Purchases & Returns
We accept cash and all major credit cards ($10 minimum), and welcome gratuities to be added to your credit charges. Unopened retail products may be returned within 30 days with receipt. Services are non-refundable. Unused services and packages expire one year after purchase. Pricing and services offered are subject to change.
Gift Cards
Gift cards can be purchased in store or sent electronically using the "Gift Card" button in the navigation (or click here). Recipients must have their gift card present at checkout; we cannot easily track purchased gift cards in our system. If a small amount (under $25) remains on a gift card, we can move the balance to your Kur account so you don't have to carry the card until empty.
Groupon/Living Social
Your online purchase of these vouchers are with Groupon, not Kur Wellness Studios. All of Groupon's use policies are fully detailed on your voucher. Kur must adhere to all of the use policies including expiration dates, or we risk losing our partnership with Groupon. No exceptions can be made. Visit https://groupon.com/faq for support.
Groups / Events
When wanting five (5) appointments or more, and before any appointments are booked, we require a signed Group Contract and $100 deposit collected. Our Group Contract has policies that override individual appointment policies above. Our menu has over 100 services, serviced in as many as five treatments rooms. Not all treatments can be provided at the same time due to facility limitations. We will do our best to accommodate, but please offer flexibility when planning. Contact us to discuss your plans and we will provide full details by email after we secure your contact information. For larger groups that require appointment staggering, we can organize a facilitated group event in our Yoga Room (we have some great, fun curriculum!), that we’d be happy to include that in your contract. Please try and stop in for a tour before you book for your event; if that’s not possible, check out our gallery at www.kurstudios.com/gallery.
Professional Boundaries
We reserve the right to refuse service or discontinue service to anyone demonstrating behavior that is perceived to be inappropriate by any member of our staff. Sexual interaction or discussion of any kind between the client and therapist is NEVER appropriate. Matters that are perceived as sexual activity or solicitation will be banned from Kur and/or reported to proper authorities.
Right to Refuse Service
While we would never randomly refuse service, we reserve the right to refuse service if a guest is creating an unsafe or hostile situation; or refuse follow-up visits if our business, or any of our staff members are treated unfairly or invasively. We are fair and polite and we expect nothing more or less from our guests.
Prices and services are subject to change.
